A Midwesterner turned Texan, this Iowa girl has spent the last ten years in the veterinary industry. Prior to finding the vet space, her professional time was spent assisting franchisees in how to market their new restaurant, planning and executing the largest Iowa Hawkeye celebration event, and raising funds for the National MS Society. In 2014, Alyssa joined the team of a large specialty and emergency hospital in San Antonio and hasn’t looked back.
Inspired by the passion and talents of all who work within a veterinary hospital, her ability to connect veterinarians and their clients in South Texas to her specialists came naturally. From being a point person for an emergency referral to co-creating the largest veterinary virtual CE of the time, all was done with the ultimate goal of helping pets in need find the absolute best care. Her last two years were spent in the veterinary insurance world where she led a team that worked directly with corporate groups, sharing the opportunity and benefits of insurance for the four-legged family members.
Outside of the office, Alyssa enjoys being around friends and family, morning car rides with her pups, patio dinners at Yard House, watching her Iowa Hawkeyes, and showing her young daughter all the beauty this life has to offer!
